About OtK

This is my blog. It’s about me. It’s about my life. It’s a collection of the things that I love, and the things that I do, and the things that I think about. There are so many things that I do and love and think about. I had to find a place to put them before my brain exploded! So, I will put my millions-of-things here, and my brain will have room for millions more.

I decided to share my millions-of-things with you because sharing is good. Also, being four years old is really fun, and fun makes people happy. Maybe if you read my blog, you will remember what it is like to be four years old and in love with everything in the world– and maybe that will make you happy.

I am also sharing my millions-of-things because all of my People live really far away (except for Mommy and Daddy, and Gioux and Bali and all my imaginary friends, that is)– and maybe if my People can see all the things I’m thinking about and what I’m doing, it will seem like we don’t live quite as far apart.

Of course, because I am only four years old, I do not  have my reading and writing and typing skills perfected enough to pull this whole thing off.  However,  what I do have is a mommy.  And because my mommy is incredibly cool and amazing, she is going to help me with the stuff that I can’t quite do yet.

But just so we’re clear– I have complete creative control here. Like, if my blog was a puppet show– I’d be the one writing and directing the show, and the one doing all the “puppet-ing,” of course.  Mommy, on the other hand, would just be a puppet…  No, not even a puppet, really. More like the production assistant who keeps track of all the puppets and puts them on my hands so that I can perform the show– and who maybe cleans and fixes the puppets every once in a while, if they need it. When all is said and done, though– this is still my puppet show.
